Our family had the pleasure of recently attending the grand re-opening and it was such a blast! Here are a few of our family favorite things about Hawaiian Falls The Colony.

Breaker Bay at Hawaiian Falls The Colony

Breaker Bay

We love us a good wave pool, and Breaker Bay does not disappoint! The new wave pool inner tubes at Hawaiian Falls don’t have a traditional hole in the middle. Instead, the tubes have a soft plastic bottom, perfect for curling up criss-cross-apple-sauce and riding the waves. My kids loved it! Especially my youngest and smallest who sometimes has a hard time not falling through the middle of a traditional tube. There is a huge movie screen overlooking the wave pool which shows music videos and blasts music, all age-appropriate from what we’ve observed over several visits. This is also where the Dive-In Movies that will be showing every Friday night in July will be held!

Keiki Kove at Hawaiian Falls The Colony

Keiki Kove

This magical place is a parent’s dream come true. While my kids are a little older (6 and 8), they’re still not quite old enough to do all the things on their own. That’s what makes Keiki Kove so magical! Parents can sit back and relax while keeping an eye on kids 12 and younger as they splash and play the day away. Keiki Kove still has some pretty great slides for bigger kids too (must be 36”), so it’s a win-win for everyone.

Tiki Tower at Hawaiian Falls The Colony

Tiki Tower

The three slides that make up Tiki Tower have been newly updated, painted, and are ready for fun! My son was finally tall enough (must be 42”) to go down these slides this time and neither he nor my daughter could get enough! The renovated slides make for a smooth (and fast!) ride. And as a mom, I really appreciate the freshness of this slide update.

Cabanas at Hawaiian Falls The Colony

Cabanas

The updates to the cabanas are so great! All the cabanas have been given a facelift with new shade structures, privacy curtains, furniture, and decor. Cabanas are the perfect place to host a group for a fun summer outing or birthday party! The new Luau Point celebration area is also an excellent choice for a party, with new picnic tables and shade covering.

Food

You guys, don’t miss the food at Hawaiian Falls! I was a little skeptical, but the food from Sharkey’s and the new Tiki Snacks & Bar does not disappoint! Sharkey’s has also had a face life, new tables have been added, as well as new menu items. And Tiki Snacks & Bar offers great smaller bites and frozen cocktails!

If you haven’t been to Hawaiian Falls lately, add a visit to your summer bucket list. It’s a ton family fun with something everyone will enjoy. Use code FRISCOMOMLIFE at hfalls.com to save on your Summer 2021 passes!
